Refund Policy

14 days, no questions asked. If the full unlock isn't what you wanted, email support@kingofcheckers.com within 14 days of buying and we'll refund it. You don't need to explain yourself.
What you're buying
The King of Checkers full unlock is a one-time $4.99 purchase. It is not a subscription. Nothing recurs, and there is nothing to cancel. It unlocks:
- All eight world rule styles, instead of the two in the free game
- House Rules editing and new saved rulesets
- The Master, Grandmaster and Unstoppable difficulties
The free game - American and El Rey Efrain under official rules, Warm-Up and Contender, the leaderboard, and versus play - stays free forever and needs no purchase.
Immortal, the perfect endgame difficulty, is sold on its own for $2.99 a style, on top of the unlock. Each one is a separate one-time purchase and nothing recurs there either. Everything on this page applies to those the same way it applies to the unlock.
Refunds for purchases made on this website
Purchases made here are processed by Stripe. To get a refund:
- Email support@kingofcheckers.com from the address you used to buy, or include your order details
- Ask within 14 days of the purchase date
We'll process it as soon as we see the message. Refunds return to the original payment method - banks typically take 5–10 business days to post it, which is their timeline, not ours. Once refunded, the unlock is removed from your account and the game returns to the free tier.
Refunds for purchases made in the iOS or Android app
If you bought the unlock inside the app, Apple or Google took the payment and we cannot refund it - we never received the money and have no ability to return it. You have to request those refunds through the store:

- Google Play - your Google Play order history
If you're not sure where you bought it, email us and we'll check.
After 14 days
Write to us anyway. The 14-day promise is what we guarantee, not the limit of what we'll consider - if something went genuinely wrong, we'd rather fix it than keep $4.99.
Problems that aren't refunds
If the unlock didn't apply, a purchase went through twice, or the game isn't working, email support@kingofcheckers.com and we'll sort it out. A duplicate charge is always refunded, whenever you spot it.
